What’s New In TIA Portal V19 Update 1
Update 1 of the TIA Portal V1 contains the following improvements and changes:
- Stability when working with the TIA Portal 19 has been improved, partly based on the feedback from returned crash reports.
- Secondly, CA certificates of projects from TIA Portal < V17 are not accepted when connecting from/to S7-1500 CPUs
- Optimization of the configuration data
If you use TIA Portal V19 Update 1 to open a project saved with V19, an optimization of the configuration data is carried out for performance reasons. To retain these improvements, you must save your project.

TIA v19 Upd 1 Installation instructions
Firstly, to install and use the update 1 of TIA Portal 19, we need:
- TIA Portal V19. Download it at the below link.
- This Update is valid for the following products: STEP 7 Basic/Professional V19; S7-PLCSIM V19 and WinCC Basic/Comfort/Advanced/Professional/Unified V19
- The TIA 19 update 1 can only be installed if one of the above-mentioned products is already installed.
- After you install update 1 for WinCC v19, the appropriate update for the HMI operator panels (HMI panel image) is also.
- After each STEP 7 V19 or WinCC V19 installation, the latest update needs to be installed.
